Provincial 4-H Dairy Show:
The first Provincial 4-H Dairy Show was held in Red Deer in 1946. Alberta 4-H Dairy club members who placed 1st or 2nd in any of six conformation classes as well as showmanship classes continue to meet following club achievement days held in June and early July to compete in conformation, showmanship, Judging, Project Bowl, and Show Ring Judging classes.
