Provincial 4-H Dairy Show:

The first Provincial 4-H Dairy Show was held in Red Deer in 1946. Alberta 4-H Dairy club members who placed 1st or 2nd in any of six conformation classes as well as showmanship classes continue to meet following club achievement days held in June and early July to compete in conformation, showmanship, Judging, Project Bowl, and Show Ring Judging classes.

Selections for the 30 individuals who will advance to the Western Canadian Classic are also made at the Provincial Show. For more information about local 4-H clubs contact one of the above club leaders in your area.

WCC 2009 is going to be held in Moose Jaw, SK , August 25-29. If anyone is interested in volunteering on the Alberta committee, please call Sue Crest at (780) 675-4643.

The Classic 2008

Chad Crest, Lee Simanton and Katelyn Crest did an awesome job in representing Alberta at the Classic in Toronto! The Branch is proud to sponsor the three successful youth from Alberta! 
Showmanship: Chad was 4th out of 139, Lee was 9th out of 119, and Katelyn was 12th out of 100.
Confirmation: Lee placed 10th and Chad placed 17th.
